A qualified Petroleum Engineer (M.Eng. Heriot-Watt 1996) with 13 years experience at British Gas, Mike worked for 7 years in the BG condensate research group specialising on reservoir fluid properties and relative permeabilities, before transferring to BG E&P as Petroleum/Reservoir Engineer on operated and non-operated, UKCS and International, Gas/Condensate/Volatile Oil Fields.
In 2000 he was seconded to the Petroleum Engineering Department of the Karachaganak Integrated Organisation to completely revise the field Fluid Model. He has recently focused on PVT modelling with Petrophase.
